The Finance Department is responsible for the University's accounting, treasury and finance functions. These include:

• University finances
• Budgeting and budget
• Paying accounts payable
• Student fees and charges
• Assessing, invoicing, and receiving accounts receivable including student fees and charges
• Banking
• Financial management analysis and reporting
• Financial audit
• Financial statements

The Purchasing Office in the Finance Department is responsible for the central purchasing and processing of all goods and non-employment services purchased by the University, as well as the management of the central stores and supplies.

The Finance Department is supported by SunGard SCT's Banner Finance system.
