The Finance Department is responsible for the University's accounting, treasury and finance functions. These include:
- University finances
- Budgeting and budget
- Paying accounts payable
- Student fees and charges
- Assessing, invoicing, and receiving accounts receivable including student fees and charges
- Banking
- Financial management analysis and reporting
- Financial audit
- Financial statements
The Purchasing Office in the Finance Department is responsible for the central purchasing and processing of all goods and non-employment services purchased by the University, as well as the management of the central stores and supplies.
The Finance Department is supported by SunGard SCT's Banner Finance system.
