The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to support institutional management, operations, decision-making, planning functions, and accreditation. Accordingly the Office of Institutional Research is responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of accurate, timely, and unified information about the University’s environment and performance.
The Office of Institutional Research acts as AUK’s information clearing house and supplies information to the Board of Trustees, senior administrators and governance committees, that will aid in understanding AUK and in instituting a culture of measurable accountability.
It provides advice and support to University constituencies, staff and faculty, with regard to the availability, scope, and appropriate use of existing data, and directs the collection of additional information when necessary.
It responds to requests for data from administrative offices, and from external requestors and it contributes to the development of systems for the provision of timely, accurate, and consistent data about the University.
