Each year the Office of Admissions will review all complete applications for Fall admission starting March 1, and for Spring admission starting November 1. The Office of Admissions will evaluate all qualified applications and extend offers of admission to the most academically deserving students. If seats in the Admissions Class are still available after March 1st and November 1st, the Office of Admissions will continue to accept and review Application Packets and admit students on a rolling admissions (first-come, first-serve) basis until the deadlines listed below, or until the Admissions Class has been filled, whichever comes first.

All AUK applicants are required to submit:

• Complete Application Form including a Personal Essay (instructions for the personal essay can be found in the Application Form)
  
  
• KD 35 Non-Refundable Application Fee
  Applications without the fee will not be processed. Fees paid by check or money order, made payable to the American University of Kuwait, may be sent inside the Application Packet envelope. If students wish to pay in cash, they must do so at the AUK Finance Department and must then submit a copy of their cash receipt with the Application Packet.

• TOEFL score results or equivalent proof of English Competency

• All prior official high school and/or college/university transcripts

Intensive English Program Applicants
Applicants who lack the English Language skills required for study at the undergraduate level at AUK.

First Year Applicants
Undergraduate applicants who have graduated or will graduate from high school before attending AUK, and who have not attended a university or college.

Transfer Applicants
Undergraduate applicants who graduated from high school, attended another college-level institution, and attempted one or more courses irrespective of credits earned.

Visiting Applicants
Undergraduate applicants who are currently enrolled at another institution and intend to earn a degree from that institution but wish to take courses at AUK.

Non-Degree Applicants
Students who have already completed a university degree (B.A., B.S. B.B.A.) and who wish to continue their education without seeking a second bachelor’s degree.
