Is AUK Accredited?
The American University of Kuwait received its Institutional Accreditation from the Private Universities Council (PUC) – Ministry of Higher Education in the State of Kuwait, as of February 1st, 2006 and was renewed in 2008. AUK obtained accreditation from “Commission on English Language Program Accreditation” for the Intensive English Program and is also working on obtaining additional accreditation with various accrediting bodies in the United States.
If I decide to transfer to a university in the United States, will my credits transfer over?
Students have to work with the university they are transferring to, rather than the university they are transferring from. Every university has its own policies and procedures when it comes to transferring credits. AUK works with students in making sure a smooth transition occurs when looking to transfer to a different institution. However, it is up to the institution in the United States to determine how many credits will be transferred over.
What is the English Competency Requirement?
