AUK is committed to the philosophy that the cost of a college education should not be a deterrent to prospective applicants. In concordance with such a philosophy, AUK provides merit-based academic scholarships for new and continuing AUK students and work-study opportunities for enrolled AUK undergraduates, both to help students pay for their education and to provide valuable, even essential, work experience. As of the Spring 2007 semester, the total number of AUK students who receive scholarships, work study or third-party financial assistance has increased to 38% of the total AUK student population.
