The ideal candidate would be a practitioner and a scholar who can balance the theoretical aspects of the field with its practical applications. Practical experience in advertising and PR is an asset. Ph.D. required.

English: Adjunct instructor position: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate writing courses, such as Freshman Composition, Writing & Information Literacy, Business Writing and Communications, and Public Speaking to a diverse student body. Searching for candidates who have a minimum of three years experience teaching writing at the college level, a strong background in writing pedagogy, and a commitment to lower-division teaching. Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, English, Literature, or Linguistics preferred.
