Dean of Student Affairs
The American University of Kuwait is seeking a dynamic, engaged student-affairs leader to be its next Dean of Student Affairs.  As a member of the President's Cabinet, the Dean provides vision, leadership, initiative and strategic direction for Student Affairs Department and overall campus community.  The incumbent will also provide advice in any area impacting student success, student satisfaction and serves as a mentor  for the student body.  The Dean will ensure the delivery of effective and quality services to students in the areas of student support and activities, student conduct, disability (or special needs) support and services, career and wellness, and alumni affairs. The Deans primary focus will be student engagement and success and works collaboratively with academic and non-academic units across the university to ensure even greater success and outcomes for AUK students.

 

Program Coordinator, Center for Gulf Studies
Reports to the Director, Center for Gulf Studies

 

Administrative Assistant - Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid
Reports to the Assistant Director, Scholarship & Financial Aid. Under the Direction of the Assistant Director for Scholarship & Financial Aid, this position will: Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid; receive, screen, respond and forward phone and email inquiries; maintain and archive files and execute all office related tasks; perform other tasks or special projects assigned by the Assistant Director, Scholarship & Financial Aid.

 

Dean - College of Business and Economics
The Dean will serve as the chief academic, fiscal, and administrative officer of the College, and reports directly to the President. S/He will be responsible for leading future efforts for the Self-Study of the AACSB accreditation, business curriculum, building on the successful of the College, fostering an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, research and service, collaborating effectively and collegially with other academic units, advocating the University administration strategy, establishing relationships with business and community leaders, and leading the College through its next phase of growth and development.

 

Safety & Security Assistant Coordinator (Second Shift)
Under the direction of the Director of Campus Services/Asst. Director, this position will provide security support to the Campus Services Department of the American University of Kuwait.
Safety & Security Assistant Coordinator handles all security and safety responsibilities at the American University of Kuwait, such as access to buildings and grounds, identifies the factors of safety and security, and finds ways of managing them through technical, operational and procedural safeguards/ procedures.
Responsible for providing a safe and secure college environment, promoting an optimal learning environment and acting as a deterrent to unsafe or poor behavior by guarding the campus and its parking lots.
