Coordinator/Counselor (Special Needs & Personal Counseling)
Reports to: Director of Career Services and Wellness

Personal Counseling:
To provide regular counseling sessions to students on wide range of topics and to update the Director on the progress of assigned cases on weekly basis.

Disability Coordinator:
To work with Disability Services both physical and mental, in determining the needs of students and also allocating services for students; to involve some work with counseling and personal coaching; to liaise with faculty and staff as required per the needs of the students and to organize a yearly health fair at the Campus.


Volleyball Coach
Reporting to the Office of Student Life, AUK seeks a qualified Volleyball Coach. This is a part-time job. To be considered, applicants should be residents of the State of Kuwait


Academic Support Specialist
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Learning Support Services, the Academic Support Specialist provides academic support to students seeking assistance in the Tutoring Center and/or the Writing Center. The Academic Support Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day functions in the Learning Support Services (LSS) unit in order to foster a culture of academic success at AUK. The Academic Support Specialist also assists the Academic Advising Center (AAC) during peak advising periods by providing academic advice and educational planning for current students. The position includes contact with students, staff, and faculty. Employees in this classification may supervise clerical employees of lower rank and/or student workers.


Academic Advisor - Government Scholarship
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Academic Advising, the Government Scholarship Advisor provides accurate and current guidance about PUC scholarship policies and procedures to scholarship students and to staff at the Scholarship Office, Admissions Office, and Registrar. The Government Scholarship Academic Advisor is responsible for understanding and keeping current on all government scholarship policies, and for conveying this information in an effective and clear manner to students, staff, and faculty. S/he interacts directly with Scholarship Office, Admissions, and Registrar staff in responding promptly and accurately to requests for assessing transfer credits applicable to major selection, change of major, and scholarship student progress. S/he keeps track of all government scholarship students to ensure that they are following their assigned major. S/he is also responsible for assessing students' academic levels, responding to student academic inquires, assisting in the resolution of individual academic problems, and advising on academic program changes. S/he advises and assists students in the development of academic plans and class schedules, analyzes applications, transfer evaluations, and transcripts for entry and exit from the university. S/he develops and maintains appropriate files and records. The Government Scholarship Advisor also assists the Senior Academic Advisor in efforts to develop initiatives for more effectively addressing the advising needs of all scholarship students. The position includes contact with students, staff, and faculty. Employees in this classification may supervise student workers.


Accounts Clerk - Finance Department
Perform the basic student collection, and related daily collection reporting including the preparation of bank remittances and vouchers; student labor and vendor check disbursements; attending to student tuition related queries student and AR follow-up.
