Academic Support Specialist
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Learning Support Services, the Academic Support Specialist provides academic support to students seeking assistance in the Tutoring Center and/or the Writing Center. The Academic Support Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day functions in the Learning Support Services (LSS) unit in order to foster a culture of academic success at AUK. The Academic Support Specialist also assists the Academic Advising Center (AAC) during peak advising periods by providing academic advice and educational planning for current students. The position includes contact with students, staff, and faculty. Employees in this classification may supervise clerical employees of lower rank and/or student workers.

 

Reference and Instruction Librarian
Reports to the Library Director. The Reference and Instruction Librarian performs general reference services. The position offers opportunities to work with other college librarians and faculty members in designing instructional services and library-based assignments, developing information literacy objectives, and selecting library resources. Each library employee will also be responsible for assisting in the general, day-to-day operations of the library.

 

Sports Coordinator at Student Life
Reporting to the Director of Student Life, this position is responsible for the development, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of all campus sports related programs, venues, and equipment within the framework of Student Life. The Sports Coordinator will directly manage university student sports programs (on & off campus) including recreational and athletic inter-collegiate sports. They will liaise with relevant departments on campus and other Kuwait Universities and agencies to promote healthy lifestyle and physical fitness opportunities as aligned with department and university missions.

 

Coordinator Alumni Affairs
Reports to the Dean of Student Affairs. Responsible for the development, coordination and evaluation of AUK Alumni Affairs program. Institutional involvement with a student strongly recommended.

 

Administrative Assistant - Dean's Office
Reports to the Dean of Student Affairs. Under the general supervision of the Dean of Student Affairs, the purpose of the job is to perform a variety of associated administrative, and planning activities, some of which require general knowledge and skills, such as budget, inventory management, recordkeeping and database management, student information system and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Responsible for coordinating meetings on behalf of the Dean, program functions, and/or special events as appropriate. Coordinates specified administrative activities and reporting across multiple organizational units within the Department, and serves as lead liaison with Department administrative assistants.

 

Senior Coordinator of Alumni Affairs
Reporting to the Dean of Student Affairs, the Coordinator will design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program for alumni as well as coordinate and evaluate special programs for the AUK community in particular AUK students and family designed to enhance visibility and engagement.

 

Part Time Research Assistant at the Center for Research in Informatics, Sciences, and Engineering (RISE)
This is a part-time research assistant job.

 

Program Coordinator - Center for Research in Informatics, Sciences and Engineering (RISE)
Reports to the Director of RISE. This is a Full-time, administrative position within AUK's Center for Research in Informatics, Sciences and Engineering (RISE). The Coordinator will work closely with the Director cross-functionally on most of the Center's activities. He/she will be primarily responsible for organizing events like lectures, seminars, and conferences; or handling administrative issues related to visiting scholars and researchers. The Coordinator will focus on identifying potential grants and industry tenders and work closely with the Center's Faculty Associates and Research Affiliates in various research-related tasks, and will supervise the Center's student workers and interns. He/she will also be expected to maintain regular contact with the center¢€™s local, regional, and international affiliate institutions and centers in the interest of promoting collaborative research and projects

 

Learning & Development Trainer/Coach (Part time)
Reports to the Training Operations Manager.
CCE is looking to work with all passionate and experienced corporate trainers in Kuwait.

Join us, if you have experience with training, adult education and skilled in facilitating successful training programs in the areas of business management, leadership and professional skills development.

We are looking for outgoing and energetic trainers to work with us on project basis, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to convey expertise in developing training materials and present programs in a stimulating manner using a combination of personality, multimedia and group exercises.
