Program and Curriculum Development Coordinator Center for Continuing Education (CCE)
Reporting to the Director of CCE and Operations Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for the design and development of training content and training curriculum of annual training programs of CCE, to follow international training trends and meet training needs of public and corporate clients. The position builds or leverages third-party tools, customer and functional organizations to develop content and course materials in multiple media forms: instructor-led materials, slides, and handbooks, e-learning, mobile, video and/or social media.

In addition, the Coordinator conducts market research in an effort to identify and analyze market training needs and potential market niches, contributes to marketing and sales strategies; assists in the development and delivery of presentations about offerings to public and corporate audiences, and ensures that all related documents associated with course development and delivery are created and processed.

When required, the coordinator is accountable for supervising department personnel and Operations team to contribute to the mission, goals and objectives of the CCE and the University, in line with existing policies, procedures and guidelines.

 

Admission Counselor
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for implementation of planned marketing and recruitment activities, coordination of recruitment and admission processes to ensure enrollment targets are met, and is an integral member of the Admissions and Enrollment Management team.

 

Dean of Student Affairs
The American University of Kuwait is seeking a dynamic, engaged student-affairs leader to be its next Dean of Student Affairs.  As a member of the President's Cabinet, the Dean provides vision, leadership, initiative and strategic direction for Student Affairs Department and overall campus community.  The incumbent will also provide advice in any area impacting student success, student satisfaction and serves as a mentor  for the student body.  The Dean will ensure the delivery of effective and quality services to students in the areas of student support and activities, student conduct, disability (or special needs) support and services, career and wellness, and alumni affairs. The Deans primary focus will be student engagement and success and works collaboratively with academic and non-academic units across the university to ensure even greater success and outcomes for AUK students.

 

Administrative Assistant - Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid
Reports to the Assistant Director, Scholarship & Financial Aid. Under the Direction of the Assistant Director for Scholarship & Financial Aid, this position will: Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid; receive, screen, respond and forward phone and email inquiries; maintain and archive files and execute all office related tasks; perform other tasks or special projects assigned by the Assistant Director, Scholarship & Financial Aid.

 

Dean - College of Business and Economics
The Dean will serve as the chief academic, fiscal, and administrative officer of the College, and reports directly to the President. S/He will be responsible for leading future efforts for the Self-Study of the AACSB accreditation, business curriculum, building on the successful of the College, fostering an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, research and service, collaborating effectively and collegially with other academic units, advocating the University administration strategy, establishing relationships with business and community leaders, and leading the College through its next phase of growth and development.
