Student Support Specialist
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Registrar, Student Support Specialist staff members are responsible for providing all registration support to students, informing students of relevant University policies and procedures, supporting requests from faculty and administrators, and other duties as assigned. They conduct the SAR sessions, assist students with registration issues, process all forms, issue letters for various government agencies, and develop and update RO forms (declaration, dismissals, probation contracts, consent, etc.). They serve on the Transfer Credit Task force, collaborating with staff members from Admissions and the Academic Advising Center and the Deans of Colleges on transfer credits. Additionally, Student Support Specialist staff are charged with developing initiatives that increase student access to and engagement with the Registrar's Office (e.g., development of Zoom as an online help desk tool to eliminate traffic in the office). These staff members also work closely with the colleges on developing the schedule of courses. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining and archiving all student records, and assisting in graduation planning and execution.

 

Research and Grants Associate
This is a full-time, administrative position within the AUK Center for Research in Informatics, Sciences and Engineering (RISE). The Coordinator will work closely with the Director cross-functionally on most of the Center's activities. He/she will be primarily responsible for organizing events like lectures, seminars, and conferences; or handling administrative issues related to visiting scholars and researchers. The Coordinator will focus on identifying potential grants and industry tenders and work closely with the Center's Faculty Associates and Research Affiliates in various research-related tasks, and will supervise the Center's student workers and interns. He/she will also be expected to maintain regular contact with the Center¢€™s local, regional, and international affiliate institutions and centers in the interest of promoting collaborative research and projects.

 

IT Systems Administrator
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. This person will focus on the administration of servers, storage and backup. The Systems Administrator will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the University systems and make recommendations for implementation. Takes appropriate
actions to resolve issues. Provide follow-up with staff to verify effective problem resolution and staff satisfaction.

 

Part-Time Soccer Coach
The Office of Student Life is looking for a committed Soccer Coach to work on part-time basis at AUK. S/He will be required to supervise, lead and coach AUK team during the various intercollegiate tournaments on/off campus.

 

Learning & Development Trainer/Coach (Part time)
Reports to the Training Operations Manager.
CCE is looking to work with all passionate and experienced corporate trainers in Kuwait.
