Full time Lab Instructor (ELEG/CPEG) - (Position Code No. 19- 904-AUKWEB 09):
The Department of Engineering is seeking full-time lab instructors for its machines, power systems, and instrumentation labs. Successful candidates will be responsible for:

 

  • Laboratory courses offered in the engineering program.
  • Compiling and reporting assessment.
  • Maintaining records and samples of assessment components for the offered labs.
  • Assist students during regularly scheduled open-lab hours.
  • Participating in curriculum development, evaluation, revision, and/or selection of course materials, equipment, and technology.
  • Developing new instructional materials and techniques to meet the learning needs of students.
  • Collaborating with the senior lab technician on laboratory maintenance and inventory checks.
  • Facilitating the installation and functionalization of new and existing equipment.  
Minimum qualifications for the position:
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach college-level engineering labs.

Full-Time Lab Instructor (ELEG) (Position Code No. 19- 905-AUKWEB 09):
The Department of Engineering is seeking full-time lab instructors for its machines, power systems, high voltage, and programmable logic control labs. Successful candidates will be responsible for:
  • Laboratory courses offered in the engineering program.
  • Compiling and reporting assessment.
  • Maintaining records and samples of assessment components for the offered labs.
  • Assisting students during regularly scheduled open-lab hours.
  • Participating in curriculum development, evaluation, revision, and/or selection of course materials, equipment, and technology.
  • Developing new instructional materials and techniques to meet the learning needs of students.
  • Collaborating with the senior lab technician on laboratory maintenance and inventory checks.
  • Facilitating the installation and functionalization of new and existing equipment.

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Full-time Instructor (Position Code No. 19 - 803-AUKWEB 09): The Department of Computing is seeking a full-time instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Teaching introductory courses offered in the department (Java is the main programming language).
  • Compiling and reporting assessment.
  • Maintaining records and samples of assessment components for the offered courses.
  • Assist students during scheduled office hours.
  • Participate in curriculum development, evaluation, revision, and/or selection of course materials, equipment, and technology.
  • Develop new instructional materials and techniques to meet the learning needs of students.
Minimum qualifications for the position:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or closely related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses.
