Outreach & Events organizes and support programs for prospective students, current students, and alumni. You experience these services through a variety of community outreach initiatives and when you participate in the PAR program (placement testing, advisement and registration process) prior to starting classes. The Outreach & Events program also arranges 2 major events per semester which may include senior day, parents’ day, our graduation ceremony, the Taste of AUK, Mall events, marathons, etc. The office is available to make your experiences at AUK memorable and special! They know What to Do!
Other outreach and events activities include:
- Coordinate, implement and evaluate transition programs for newly admitted students which is the PAR program (Placement, Advising, and Registration)
- Coordinate, organize, and implement special events like alumni related events such as homecoming, mother / daughter tea, women’s only events, fundraisers, spring campaigns, Scholarship campaigns fund raisers, and community outreach events.
- Recruit, train, and advise admission-affiliated student organizations.
- Conduct information presentations (ACCUPLACER).
