Information Technology

The Information Technology Department provides an integrated computing and communications infrastructure, in addition to various multimedia services like academic and administrative applications and databases for faculty, staff, and students, events recording, media conversion and video conferencing.

AUK's campus is built with the latest cutting-edge technology infrastructure. 

University data is regularly backed up and stored off-campus. Furthermore, all servers and network components are monitored 24x7 to ensure highly available services to the AUK community.

The department also maintains and upgrades over 800 PC’s and Macs that are available on campus. They are systemically updated with the latest software patches and antivirus releases.

The AUK community also has available a web-based helpdesk application where they can log in and track any IT-related issue and/or requests.

The department supports AUK's major enterprise software solutions. These include but are not limited to:

  • Ellucian Banner
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Luminis (MyAUK Portal)
  • Moodle
  • Horizon
