AUK To Host TEFL Kuwait Interdisciplinary Multidisciplinary Conference 2023

AUK will host the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) interdisciplinary multidisciplinary conference that will explore innovation, integration, and digital transformation through education. The international conference will be held on the 10th and 11th of February 2023.
This event brings together experts in language, education, business, and technology to exchange and share their ideas and research results in all interdisciplinary streams. Expected to attend are representatives of universities, teachers from public and private sectors, and other related organizations, such as language schools.
The TEFL Kuwait International Conference provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to discuss recent innovations, trends, challenges, and solutions to problems in language, education, business, and technology.
Some of the keynote speakers that will be presenting during the conference include Dr. William Cope, professor in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership; Dr. Thanassis Rikakis, dean of USC Lovine and Young Academy for Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation; Dr. Abdullatif AlShamsi, professor of engineering and education in the Higher Colleges of Technology; Ms. Sara Hussain Akbar, Kuwaiti chemical petroleum engineer; Dr. Ebtehal AlKhateeb, assistant professor at Kuwait University in the Department of English Language and Literature; and Dr. Christine Coombe, former TESOL International president.
TEFL Kuwait promotes English language learning and teaching methodologies in Kuwait, the Gulf and the globe. With upwards of 900 members from 73 countries, the TEFL Kuwait community includes educators from Kuwait and the MENA region as well as a diverse range of global participants from a host of nations and continents from the USA to the UK, Canada, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa. Through TEFL Kuwait, educators of the English language as well as educators who teach their subjects in the English language stay abreast of the latest trends impacting education.
The event will be hosted both online and on-site.
