Dmytro Roman Kulchitsky

Associate Professor of Public Policy and International Relations

Dmytro Roman Kulchitsky is an associate professor of international relations and public policy, as well as the current chair of the Departments of International Relations and Social and Behavioral Sciences at the American University of Kuwait (AUK). Dr. Kulchitsky received his Ph.D. in public policy from George Mason University and earned a master’s degree in economics from both the University of Detroit and George Mason University. His research interests include,  nations and nationalism, political economy, research methods, and machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is also exploring the systematic use of digital technologies and resources in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Prior to academia, Dr. Kulchitsky worked for the Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS) on automation software projects in the US public sector, as well served in the Michigan State House of Representatives.
