James Rose
Assistant Professor of Psychology
Dr. James Rose is an assistant professor of psychology at the American University of Kuwait and served as chairperson of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences from 2012 to 2018. Previously, he held the positions of visiting assistant professor and assistant scientist at the University of Florida, and visiting assistant professor at James Madison University. Dr. Rose received a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Virginia, and an M.A. in educational psychology from the University of Chicago. His research examines the visual control of movement in children and adults, and the impact of social media on mental health.
