Nabeel Sawalha
Assistant Professor of Management
Dr. Nabeel Sawalha is currently a faculty member in management/international business & strategy at the American University of Kuwait (AUK). He joined AUK in the fall of 2021. Previously, he worked at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in public administration from Yarmouk University in Jordan, earned in 1989, as well as an MBA and a doctorate in international business from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, both obtained in 2008.
In addition to his academic pursuits, and based in Tampa, Florida, he has developed extensive experience in the E-commerce industry, having worked at IBM and AT&T telecom corporations for over fifteen years in various divisions as a client service manager for prominent global corporations. He also served as an international commodity trade agent at VIA America Export & Import, Inc. between 1991 and 1994.
His areas of research interests include international human resource management, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and economic development, and cross-cultural studies.
