Naeemah Alkharafi

Assistant Professor of Management

Dr. Naeemah Alkharafi is an assistant professor in the College of Business and Economics at the American University of Kuwait. Her research and teaching interests are within the field of international entrepreneurship, women’s entrepreneurship, and global strategy.  Her doctoral training and research specifically focus on the impact of regulatory institutions or government policy on economic development and entrepreneurial behavior at the national level.
  
Prior to joining AUK, Dr. Naeemah Alkharafi taught Global Strategy (410) at Bentley University in the United States (2018-2019).  She worked in the United Kingdom as an architect with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (2011).  She was as a lecturer and administrative engineer at Kuwait University in the College of Engineering and Petroleum at the Department of Architecture (2012-2015).
