Khalid Sultan
Associate Professor of Computer Engineering
Dr. Khalid Sultan is an assistant professor at the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS), American University of Kuwait (AUK) since August 2019. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 2007 and 2015, respectively. Before joining AUK, Dr. Sultan worked as an assistant professor of computer engineering at University of Hail (UoH) in Saudi Arabia for three years. Before that, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering - CIISE (Montreal, Canada) for two years. Dr. Sultan is currently serving/has served as a reviewer, track chair, and program committee member PCM for several peer-reviewed journals and prestigious international conferences. He has also served as a consultant for two projects with the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies at Umm Al-Qura University (Makkah, KSA). Dr. Sultan’s current research interests include, but are not limited to, mobile computing, multi-agent systems, formal verification, security, machine leaning, and IoT systems.
