Instructors/Teaching Assistants Positions

Position Code 22-901- AUKWEB 01: The College of Engineering & Applied Sciences (CEAS) is seeking full-time teaching assistants for its engineering and computing courses and labs. Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Delivering tutorial sessions.
  • Holding office hours.
  • Assisting in marking assignments, reports, and projects.
  • Assisting in laboratory sessions and open hours.
  • Preparing course folders material.
  • Supporting capstone students.
  • Helping in proctoring exams.
  • Performing other duties as assigned as assigned by the Dean’s Office.

Minimum qualifications for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in a master’s program.
  • Previous tutoring/teaching experience will be a plus.

The position will remain open until filled and is for local residents only.
