Kheiriyeh Ahmadi

Kheiriyeh Ahmadi graduated from the American University of Kuwait (BA with honors in English Language and Literature) and the University of Southern California (MA with honors in TESOL), where she has built a strong background in literary criticism and language acquisition theories. Moreover, she is fluent, and has conducted research, in Farsi, English, and Arabic. Most recently, she has translated into English chapters from a 17th-century Persian chronicle written by the Safavid historian Fazli Khuzani Isfahani. She is now pursuing her PhD in English literature and criticism hoping that will give her the tools she needs to establish a more prominent research portfolio in the field of Middle Eastern literary and cultural studies as she continues teaching.
