A major in Human Resource Management (HRM) is the foundation of a career that has the potential for enabling a meaningful and positive impact on the health, well-being, and achievements of working individuals where human talent increasingly becomes a contributing factor for achieving a competitive business advantage. HRM plays a central role in this process by attracting, retaining, and developing human capital in organizations. HRM coursework focuses on developing a combination of professionally specific skills as well as soft skills critically needed for success in all business fields including management, marketing, accounting, and finance.
