Who We Serve
We welcome:
- Kuwaiti and expatriate students seeking a liberal arts education grounded in local context
- International students interested in studying full-time, part-time, or for cultural enrichment
- Visiting and non-degree students who meet AUK’s eligibility criteria
What to Expect
- Placement testing occurs after admission and before Student Advisement & Registration (SAR).
- You’ll receive test registration instructions and access to preparation materials.
- Placement scores help advisors guide your course selection in your first semester.
Commitment to Student Success
AUK reviews its placement policy annually to ensure alignment with academic standards and student needs. Practice resources, guidelines, and support are available through the Academic Advising Center.
Application Deadlines
- Fall 2025: Aug 21
- Early Fall 2025: May 29
- Spring 2026: Jan 25
- Summer 2025: June 12
How to Apply
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Complete the application form and submit all required documents by the deadline. You'll need:
- Official transcripts
- English proficiency test scores
- Typed personal essay (in English)
- Non-refundable KWD 20 application fee
Note: Providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in admission being revoked.
Step 2: Confirm Your Spot
Once admitted, confirm your enrollment by submitting the non-refundable KWD 100 enrollment deposit. This amount is credited toward your first-semester tuition.
Students who do not submit the deposit will not be able to register or participate in Student Advisement & Registration (SAR).
Step 3: Submit Final Documents
All students must submit a certified final transcript and meet equivalency requirements from Kuwait’s Ministry of Education or Higher Education. If your final records no longer meet AUK’s standards, your offer of admission may be withdrawn.
A Note on Capacity
Admission is selective and capacity limited. Meeting minimum academic requirements does not guarantee admission. Some applicants may be placed on a waitlist.

If you're applying through a scholarship program (PUC or other sponsor), additional requirements or deadlines may apply. Please consult the scholarship office or contact admissions
