AUK Academic Scholarship & Financial Aid

What is it?

A competitive, merit-based scholarship awarded to top-performing students.

Eligibility:

• First-Time College Students: Minimum 3.75 high school GPA

• Continuing Students: Minimum cumulative AUK GPA 3.70 with 60+ AUK credits

Application Process:

• Complete admissions application

• Submit AUK Scholarship Application Form

• Adhere to the deadline announced each year before the fall semester

To Keep Your Scholarship:

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher

• Enroll in at least 12 credits per semester (Fall and Spring)

What is it?

Partial tuition support for currently enrolled, non-scholarship students facing financial hardship.

Eligibility:

• Must have earned 45+ AUK credits

• Must have a minimum cumulative AUK GPA of 2.00

• Cannot be on an AUK or Government Scholarship

Coverage:

• Tuition only (not fees)

• Up to 12 credits per semester for maximum two semesters per academic year (excludes summer)

Application Process:

• Submit Financial Aid Application Form

• Provide required financial documentation

• Deadlines are announced via AUK email

PUC Government Scholarships

AUK is a recognized and approved institution under the Private Universities Council (PUC) of the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait. Each academic year, PUC allocates a limited number of internal government scholarships to eligible students enrolled at AUK.

Who qualifies?

• Kuwaiti nationals

• Applicants must meet GPA and eligibility criteria set by the Private Universities Council (PUC)

Covers:

• Tuition and book allowance

Important Notes:

• Scholarship seats are limited and subject to PUC allocation and approval.

• All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and guidelines set by PUC.

• Final decisions on awards and renewals are made by the PUC.

Private organizations occasionally fund scholarships for AUK students based on academic merit or financial need.
