Bashar Zogheib
Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Zogheib joined AUK in 2011 as an associate professor of mathematics. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics in 2006 from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada after earning two master’s degrees: one in mathematics, and another in statistics from the same University. He also received a third master’s degree in mathematics education from Wayne State University, Michigan, USA. Prior to joining AUK, Dr. Zogheib worked at the University of Windsor, Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and Nova Southeastern University in Florida. His current research focuses on numerical solutions for partial differential equations, computational fluid dynamics, applied statistics, biostatistics, and mathematics education. He was promoted to full professor of mathematics in 2017.
