Belal Gharaibeh
Associate Professor of Systems Engineering
An inventor and practical research-oriented person seeking new ideas and creating new solutions for advanced engineering problem. Gained most of his 15+ years of practical experience by working for major academic institutes, automotive and OEM companies while applying production line inspection systems using advanced techniques. Dr. Gharaibeh has a PhD degree in mechanical engineering and a certified LEAN manufacturing practitioner from the University of Kentucky and currently his research focus is on advanced materials for additive manufacturing processes with focus on medical and nuclear applications through several funded projects with MIT and Royal Academy of Engineering. Dr. Gharaibeh is also involved in projects related to energy generation and usage for refugee camps and rural areas in the middle east with focus recycling waste solid materials.
