How We Handle Emergencies

AUK has a comprehensive Emergency Management Plan to address a wide range of situations, including medical incidents, fires, and cybersecurity threats. The plan focuses on:

Minimizing risk and injuries.

 

Safeguarding Assets:

Preserving university property and data.

 
Rapid Recovery:

Ensuring swift resumption of operations.

What to Do in an Emergency

Fire Safety

  • Evacuate immediately when alarms sound. 
  • Designated fire wardens will guide evacuations.
  • Assembly points: Near Gate 3 and Gate 6.

Medical Assistance

  • Call: Ext. 3333 or +965 22299013.
  • On-site clinic and trained personnel provide immediate care.

Active Threats (Run, Hide, Fight)

  • Evacuate, if possible, secure yourself if not, and fight only as a last resort. 
  • Follow instructions from security and emergency teams.
