Office of Research and Grants
The Office of Research and Grants (ORG) plays a pivotal role in realizing AUK’s potential as a
research institution. By funding research, conducting workshops, and fostering collaborations
with academia and industry, the ORG drives the University’s scholarly pursuits.
Key committees within the ORG ensure a robust research environment:
Committee on Research and Grants (CRG):
Encourages scholarship, original research, creative work, reflective inquiry, and knowledge translation by faculty members.
Institutional Review Board (IRB):
Oversees ethical research involving human
participants, ensuring alignment with international standards. IRB also facilitates training
and certification for faculty conducting such research, with full funding provided by AUK.
