AUK Men's & Women's Tennis Teams Crowned 2011 Champions

The American University of Kuwait (AUK) Tennis Team defeated the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) in the tennis finals of the University Championship Cup (UCC). The men's team, consisting of AUK students Fahad Al-Wadani, Uros Lukic and Djokep Pichery, won 2-1, while the women's team, consisting of Mariam Haya, Sarah Behehani and Aseel Duaij had a clean sweep, winning 2-0. The men and women's tennis team have now earned AUK 10 points toward the 2011 UCC trophy race, putting AUK in excellent standing to win this year's University Championship Cup.
