AUK Sponsors FSHN 10th Annual Run Kuwait

AUK was one of the sponsors for Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network’s (FSHN) 10th annual Run Kuwait charity race to raise funds for the treatment of children with special needs.  
 
The race was open to the local community and saw a high attendance of AUK staff, faculty, and students who joined other racers to contribute to the cause. Participants chose between walking or running a distance of either 5km or 10km.  
 
The AUK Center for Continuing Education (CCE) and the Office of Admissions had a booth during the event in which representatives promoted the University, its programs, and answered general inquiries.  
 
Amal Al-Binali, AUK executive vice president, expressed her support towards the cause, "The University is keen on contributing to noble humanitarian goals that foster sportsmanship amongst the youth. AUK is an institution that advocates for movements that benefit the community.”
