AUK Welcomes Back HOOP Season 4: Celebrating Community and Competition
AUK will be the official venue sponsor for the HOOP Season 4 basketball tournament this September. HOOP is an alumni-led organization that embodies the entrepreneurial drive and leadership of its graduates. AUK will once again host the event on its campus, reaffirming its commitment to supporting alumni. Renowned for its intense competition and vibrant community spirit, the tournament’s return to AUK represents a meaningful homecoming to its roots.
HOOP will feature 12 teams with 120 players and 12 captains. The theme for this year’s tournament, “Where it All Started,” celebrates the return of HOOP Season 4 to its original venue at AUK.
Mohammed Al Saleh, senior sports coordinator, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “This tournament not only celebrates competitive spirit but also strengthens our commitment to supporting local events and enhancing the sporting culture in the region. We look forward to another successful tournament and the dynamic interactions it will bring to our AUK community.”
This partnership is just one of many examples of how the university encourages alumni-led projects, strengthening its community through ongoing collaboration and support.
