AUK's Department of Music and Drama Presents the Ridiculous Adventures of King Arthur
AUK Department of Music and Drama presented their latest student-run theater production, The Ridiculous Adventures of King Arthur. The play followed the journey of King Arthur and his knights as they embarked on a quest to find a legendary item.
The play was open to the public and showcased the talents of more than 40 students who worked for ten weeks to bring the show to life. Drama students focused on different aspects of the show, such as set, costume, sound, lighting and video design, including stage management, marketing, and make-up.
Every semester, the Department of Music and Drama puts on a student-run play on stage. This process gives students from different majors at AUK the opportunity to apply their learned knowledge in English, communication, design, management, and marketing.
The student-run plays serve as a vital component of the Department's curriculum, providing an exceptional opportunity for students to exhibit their boundless creativity and exceptional talent. These plays offer a platform for aspiring actors, directors, and designers to hone their skills, gain invaluable experience, and express themselves artistically.
