CCE AUK Collaborates with FAWSEC To Introduce New Teachers to Kuwaiti Culture
The Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at AUK collaborated with FAWSEC Educational Company to introduce new teachers in Kuwait to the rich culture, customs, and lifestyle of the country. The event took place on AUK’s campus, highlighting the University’s active participation in educational initiatives.
The event provided teachers from top American, Bilingual, and British Schools in Kuwait with a comprehensive introduction to Kuwaiti culture and traditions. CCE AUK set up a booth where their representatives disseminated valuable information to attendees regarding the range of programs and services they provide.
This immersive experience was facilitated through a diverse lineup of exhibitors, esteemed national speakers, industry experts, and expats who have established themselves in Kuwait. Attending the event were approximately 200 new hires, which was sponsored by the Trusted Food Group, Burgan Bank, and IKARUS United Marine Services Company (K.S.C).
Ms. Amal Al-Banai, AUK executive vice president, underscored the University’s commitment to nurturing an environment conducive to educators, “We believe that educators play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students and society. Therefore, we provide our educators with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to excel in their roles. A thriving academic community is one where educators are not only respected but also continuously encouraged to innovate, grow, and inspire.”
AUK is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for educators. Events as such not only enhance the experiences of new hires but also contribute to the overall educational landscape in Kuwait.
