Fourth AUK Student Receives Gulf Studies Certificate
Dr. Marjorie Kelly, Director of the Gulf Studies Program at the American University of Kuwait, presented a certificate in Gulf Studies to Clare Dreyfus in recognition of her completion of program requirements. AUK's Gulf Studies Program is multidisciplinary and offers non-degree students the opportunity to study the history, politics, culture, and arts of the Gulf. Ms. Dreyfus is the fourth AUK student to receive this certificate. She came to Kuwait two years ago with a B.A. from Smith College to learn about the Gulf, and plans to begin graduate studies in the fall in the U.S.
