Global Academic Partnerships: AUK Welcomes Maltese Ambassador

AUK recently hosted a meeting with His Excellency Prof George A. Said-Zammit, Ambassador of Malta to the State of Kuwait, and representatives from the University of Malta. This significant gathering aimed to discuss potential academic collaborations and exchange opportunities, enhancing AUK’s mission of promoting global student mobility through various international programs. 
 
During the meeting, AUK and the University of Malta explored a range of initiatives to provide students with opportunities to develop essential academic, professional, and personal skills. The discussions focused on facilitating academic exchanges, offering shorter semester courses, and fostering cultural exposure. These efforts are designed to prepare students for a globalized world, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in diverse professional environments. 
 
Attending the meeting were Jake Grech, Student Advisor at University of Malta; Dr. Christian Zammit, Rector’s Delegate for International Medical Students at University of Malta; Stefania Aguis-Fabri, Director of the International Office at University of Malta; Professor Frank Bezzina, Pro-Rector for International Development & Quality Assurance at University of Malta; Dr. Rawda Awwad, AUK president; Abir Tannir, AUK Director of International Student Programs; Lara Jadayel, AUK International Student Programs Coordinator.  
 
This meeting marks a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and international cooperation. Both AUK and the University of Malta are committed to creating enriching educational experiences that will benefit their students and the broader academic communities.
