The evening commenced with an ambience-setting performance by Salman Behbehani, playing the oud, accompanied by a cello played by Abdulla Essa. Following the recital, the poet and the author, engaged in an open discussion with the audience members, among whom were the writers Saadiya Mofarah, Abdulwahab Al Hamadi and Huda Al Shawa.
Fatma Al-Adwani, President of the Arabic Literature Club, thanked the guests and audience members for their participation in the poetry night. She also thanked The Sultan Center for providing copies of Al-Raheil's first poetry collection to the attendees, which the poet signed during the closing of the event.
