Eng. Deabas’ research examines the investment decisions under uncertainty and in global context using quantitative and econometrics models. He teaches courses in quantitative and data analytics, and economics (microeconomics and macroeconomics) at the undergraduate level. He is a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) and received M.A. in economics and M.Sc. in management (strategy) from York University and Queen’s University in Canada, respectively. He also holds M.Sc. in computer engineering from Kuwait University (KU). Prior to Joining the American University of Kuwait (AUK), he was a senior instructor at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) for 15 years.
