CCE-AUK and Gulf Bank Collaborate on Ajyal 9th Edition: Shaping the Future of Banking Excellence
Inspired by the collective vision of maintaining a robust sustainability program that contributes towards achieving the New Kuwait Vision 2035, the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at AUK and Gulf Bank have continued their collaborative journey through the unique flagship annual development program, “AJYAL”.
The Ajyal Program commenced its 9th edition, a six-month comprehensive learning journey, aiming to help learners develop key banking skills, cultivating high performing, holistic bankers who are at the focus of the bank’s long-term growth strategy by demonstrating promising potential on both personal and professional levels.
The objective of the program is to foster a performance-driven culture (PEOPLE), introduce technology solutions to enable a bank-wide digital transformation (TECHNOLOGY), and adopt world-class risk management practices (RISK), which in turn, would add value to the bank’s vision.
Following the success of Ajyal 7 and 8, the Center continues to resound its motto “Learning never ends” by designing an enhanced curriculum which corresponds to Gulf Bank’s Ajyal core competencies. This curriculum is delivered through CCE’s reputable professors and facilitators who employ creative learning methodologies, ideas, and strategies to empower participants to become future leaders.
Ms. Amal Al-Binali, AUK executive vice president, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, “AUK's partnership with Gulf Bank isn’t just a collaboration; it is a testament to the University’s leading role in Kuwait's educational transformation. AUK is at the forefront of supporting educators and local talents, equipping them with the tools needed to enhance their skills and keep them up to date with the fast-changing banking industry.”
