Facilities Management Department (FMD)
The Facilities Management Department (FMD) is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing the University’s physical environment. By providing essential utilities, facilities, and operational support, FMD ensures a safe, secure, and welcoming campus for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Key Services
FMD oversees six primary areas of campus operations:
- Facility Management – Ensuring efficient maintenance and operation of campus buildings and utilities.
- Safety & Security – Providing 24/7 security services and emergency preparedness measures.
- Campus Planning, Refurbishment & Construction – Overseeing new construction projects, renovations, and campus improvements.
- Cleaning & Classroom/Event Setup – Managing cleaning services and logistical support for campus events and academic activities.
- University Transportation – Facilitating safe and reliable campus transportation services.
- AUK Housing – Coordinating student and faculty housing accommodations.
